Peach Whiskey BBQ Chicken via The Pioneer Woman

I saw this on food network years ago via @thepioneerwoman and it’s a family favorite. Now that I’ve moved to Birmingham with Chilton County peaches, well DANG!

I follow Pioneer’s recipe but dump the sugary peach preserves for simple cut up fresh fruit. (I've made it both ways and prefer the fresh fruit version.) Oh...one more change: I season the chicken thighs with salt & pepper.

We serve it up over a baked potato or with rice, and sometimes with my cornbread. It's always paired with a salad and grilled peaches!  And it's even better the next day so double batch it!!
