Let's Read the Bible Together

When you build your life upon His truth with roots growing deep in God’s love, your foundation is firm.  God is never far from you. His ear is always inclined to your needs.  His arms are always waiting, wide open.  When you wander, He relentlessly pursues and calls your name:

Every.

Single.

Time.

You are His child.  Chosen to belong to Him before the foundation of the world was formed.  He knows your brokenness.  Yet, His love is so perfect, He didn’t spare His only Son.  Your brokenness is covered.  You are redeemed and your hope is secured.

You know this.  You believe this.  You trust this.  Yet, why does God often feel distant and His Spirit silent?

I discovered every time God feels distant and His Spirit quiet, my Bible is closed.  When my Bible is closed (even when I’m going to church, listening to worship music, reading about the Bible) the world and self push in.  Scripture truly is a sword and a shield.  God’s Word will transform your life, your day, your feelings. Through His Word, no matter the circumstance, you experience the fullness of God and the power of His Spirit.  Scripture on the daily will transform your life!

All this to say, I’m about to start on my second 90 day Bible reading plan this year.

(typically it takes me around 100 to 110 days--why this post is happening in April instead of March :).  I know it might sound crazy (and when we are slogging through Leviticus and Numbers it is gonna feel a little crazy), but I promise it is life-changing.  So, if you want to join me for some accountability (and to get a copy of the reading plan) let me know!

How to let me know because I need your email to send the reading plan:

DM me on Instagram @fuelbodyfeedsoul

No insta?  PM me on Facebook

Housekeeping:

  1. I am starting April 26th. Can you join in late? Absolutely! But let’s get on this train together.

  2. The translation you choose is completely up to you!  I normally read NIV or NLT.  But I’m thinking of trying CSB or Amplified this go round.

  3. Feel free to share and invite whoever you want. This is the kinda thing that needs to go viral. You don’t need to share their email with me (unless they want you to!). Just send the reading plan along.

  4. The plan is typically about 30 minutes of reading a day. Sometimes I knock it out in the morning (I mean who can put Romans down). Sometimes I read it in two or three (yeah, I’m looking at you Leviticus) installments throughout the day. You schedule as needed. But make it a daily priority!

  5. I’m thinking about hosting some Zoom calls for fellowship and for all to share the impact (emphasis on thinking). When you DM or PM-let me know if this is something you’d be interested in.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1.

I’m excited. Are you excited? Fair warning: once you do this….you will never stop. And, it will be the best decision you have ever made. I know. Cause I thought it was crazy when I started doing this a few years ago.

xoxo,

Carol
